AS many readers will know, the Labour Party have not asked me to contest a seat at the forthcoming municipal elections.
This means, sadly, that the working relationship which has existed for the last 25 years between myself and the electors of Farnworth will come to an end.
I would like to take this opportunity of thanking the many friends I have made in Farnworth and across the borough for their kindness, and generosity of spirit, and to wish them well for the future.
