A VERDICT of suicide has been recorded at an inquest into the death of a Farnworth man who was found hanging at his home.
James Murgatroyd, aged 41, was discovered at his home in Lily Avenue last October.
At the hearing his aunt, Barbara Barrow, of Elton Avenue, Bolton, said Mr Murgatroyd had been made redundant twice last year, although he never seemed to suffer from depression.
A post mortem examination by Dr Stephen Wells revealed that the rope had compressed Mr Murgatroyd's airway.
Assistant deputy coroner Chris Welton recorded a verdict of suicide.
