A MAN facing child sex allegations has had his case transferred to Bolton Crown Court.
William Whitehead, aged 40, of Underwood, College Bank, Rochdale, is charged with two matters of indecent assault and one of gross indecency against a girl under the age of 14 years.
Whitehead, who appeared before magistrates in Bury, will now appear before the Crown Court on May 3, when a plea and directions hearing will take place.
He was given conditional bail, which included no unsupervised contact with any child under the age of 16.
