FIVE new signings in six weeks have strengthened Wanderers' survival squad but Sam Allardyce is still looking for reinforcements.
The Wanderers' boss confirmed today that he wants Real Madrid's 27-year-old centre-back Ramos Ivan Campo - as revealed in Wednesday's Bolton Evening News.
"If I could have one more I would have him," Allardyce said after signing French midfielder Mario Espartero from FC Metz on a three-month loan.
"His track record and ability playing for Real Mallorca and Real Madrid is outstanding. The addition of one more defender would be nice.
"I've done midfield now and the front line ... now we need to strengthen the back but whether we will be able to I'm not so sure."
Espartero joined fellow newcomers Fredi Bobic, Gerald Forschelet, Stig Tofting and Youri Djorkaeff in the Reebok ranks yesterday after having trials with Blackburn Rovers and Rangers.
