FROM a choice of 21 starters, we chose Vegetarian Mix (four different veg in bhaji or patti form) and Isa Bora -- a delicate, peppery dish with a light, crispy batter.
My husband had Achari Gost, pieces of marinated lamb and cooked in pickle masala. I went for Lamb Kuchha, marinated lamb in a mild, creamy almond sauce. With the bill came two free drinks, chocolates, and a rose for me!
