THE standard menu offers a wide selection and a daily specials board also gives a varied and interesting choice.
My starter of whitebait in batter was delicious and my 'blackboard' main meal of venison served on a bed of onions and chillies was a wise choice. A selection of beers takes some beating and there is an equally impressive array of other drinks.
