THE Farnworth Grammar School website is appealing for former teachers to register and take part in "lively discussions" with former pupils.
There are now more than 600 former pupils registered with the website and more than 9,000 messages posted in the forums. The site also features real-time chat, voting polls, photo gallery, classified ads and an online auction.
Webmaster Rick Wilson said: "The site has been a massive sucess since its conception in June 2001 and the members are desperately keen for former teachers at the school to take part. All teachers that register on the site will be assured of a very warm welcome."
"There is also a thriving social side to the website and we are searching for pupils who started Farnworth Grammar School in 1973 and 1978 for two reunions planned for March. Any pupils from those years wishing to attend can find full details at our website."
