THE newly-developed Fairfield Hospital in Bury will be officially opened by the Earl of Derby today.
Lord Derby will unveil a commemorative plaque at the main entrance before touring the new facilities, which includes wards, departments and facilities transferred from Bury General Hospital. A previous Lord Derby officially opened the Bury Dispensary Hospital in 1882.
