THIEVES snatched five CDs worth £75 and tried to remove a radio after smashing the window of a car.
The Daewoo Matiz was parked in the car park of the Spread Eagle pub in Bolton Road, Edgworth, between 7pm and 8pm on Saturday when the thieves struck. Police have warned motorists never to leave property unattended in cars. Witnesses or anyone with information about the theft should contact Darwen police on 01254 353844.
