LOCAL businessman Jack Vickers is warning firms to beware of a bogus international directory.
Mr Vickers, who runs a conveyor belting company -- J Vickers and Co -- in Bradshaw, was immediately suspicious when he received an invoice from Switzerland for more than £400 for an alleged insertion in an international fax directory.
'I've had these before over the years," he said.
"If it is a big company they can slip past," he went on, "but they won't slip past me."
He is warning other firms to be on the lookout for communications from the firm -- IT&T based in Zug, Switzerland.
