WANDERERS are hoping that Youri Djorkaeff's number 13 shirt will be unlucky for the rest of the Premiership.

The new boy, who cryptically says he sees his role in the side as a sort of number nine and a half, has chosen to wear the shirt that most players in the Premiership traditionally steer well clear of.

Sam Allardyce said: "He has picked the number 13 shirt which is apparently very lucky in France. I hope it is very lucky for him."
