STEVE Banks' bid to help Rochdale improve their promotion prospects against runaway Third Division leaders Plymouth Argyle at Spotland was foiled when the match was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
However, the Wanderers' keeper has been cleared to extend his loan deal with Dale into a third month after covering for regular number one, Neil Edwards.
Boss John Hollins said of Banks: "He has grown in stature during his time with us and I wanted to keep himfor another month."
