A WOMAN who stole letters from the luxury penthouse flat of England captain David Beckham and his wife Victoria was today being sentenced at Mold Crown Court in Wales.
Chinyelu Mary Obue, aged 37, hired a taxi to take her 230 miles from her home in Scotland to the affluent village of Alderley Edge, Cheshire.
District Judge Phillip Dodd, sitting at Macclesfield Magistrates Court last year, sent Obue to Crown Court for sentencing as he did not have the power to place her in a secure psychiatric unit.
