HOME support for Bolton's elderly and vulnerable people is to benefit from three new projects.
Bolton Council Social Services are setting up a specialist home support scheme for older people with mental illness. A rapid response team will get additional support and there will be more preventative services.
Funding will come from the Neighbourhood Renewal Fund and will pay for seven new intensive home care support workers, three intermediate care workers, two senior elderly mentally ill staff and seven support workers.
