MOTHER-of-two Alexia Sibthorpe left a court in tears after being ordered to pay £250 compensation to a woman she claimed had slept with her husband.
Manchester magistrates heard how Sibthorpe, aged 26, of Thorpe Street, Walkden, had attacked 24-year-old Angela Marsh, of Winton, when she confronted her in the toilets of a nightclub in the city last November. The defendant, of Thorpe Street, Walkden, admitted assaulting Miss Marsh, and was given a 12 month conditional discharge.
But Peter Antrobus, defending, said Miss Marsh had taunted his client by telling her she had slept with her husband.
