A MEETING next week will give parents a chance to make their views known on the future of local schools.
Under Bury Council's Strategic Review of Primary School Places, two schools in East Bury have been earmarked for merger with two others.
The meeting will take place at the Council Chamber in Bury Town Hall on Tuesday.
From 7pm to 8pm consideration will be given to the proposals affecting Fishpool Infant School and St Chad's CE Junior School. This will be followed, from 8pm to 9pm, by discussions on the plans involving St John's CE Primary School and St Mark's CE Primary School. More details from Jason Crausby on 0161 253 6349.
