SPRING is nearly with us so why not put a spring in your step and head for the glorious outdoors and visit historic Tatton Park, Knutsford.

This time of the year the park is starting to come alive after the cold winter months and this famous National Trust property is full of spring blooms.

Another highly recommended reason to visit the park is the fact that the 33rd Cheshire Spring Antiques & Fine Art Fair, organised by Robert Bailey Fairs Ltd, is also taking place.

The Tenants Hall at Tatton Park, together with an adjoining marquee, is where you will find the fair. There is plenty of space for up to 58 exhibitors to present antiques with an emphasis on flair, colour and style.

Mr Robert Bailey, organiser of the event, says: "The spring fair has many specialities, including furniture for town and country homes, sliver, metals, Persian rugs, jewellery and lots more. Visitors always enjoy the atmosphere of the spring show where they also have the opportunity to visit the beautifully landscaped deer park."

The fair will be open on Thursday, March 7, from 2pm-6pm, Friday and Saturday, March 8 and 9, from 11am-6pm, and Sunday, March 10, from 11am-5pm.
