A CHURCH service conceived by Christians from Romania will involve fellow believers from 21 local churches at World Day of Prayer celebrations in Leigh.
The service is at 7.30pm on Friday, March 1, in Kirkhall Lane Independent Methodist Church. In Romania many people still struggle after years of oppression under the Communist dictatorship and put their faith in their Christian beliefs.
Singers are welcome to join the united choir for the service. Practices are on Mondays, February 18 and 25, at 7.30pm at the Kirkhall Lane church.
