IF you wish it could be a white Christmas every day, a Bolton pub is the place to go.

Mark White, aged 32, landlord of the White Hart pub in Farnworth, is so crazy about Christmas that he has decided to keep his decorations up all year.

Regulars at the pub in Albert Road are also treated to a medley of his favourite Christmas songs and a full turkey dinner on the menu once a week.

The tradition was started by Mark's parents Albert and Irene when they ran pubs in Bolton including the British Queen in Blackburn Road.

He said: "The regulars think I'm mad but they will soon get into it I'm sure. Some have said it's bad luck to leave your decorations up but that's a load of codswallop. Christmas is all about fun so why stop when it gets to January?"

He plans to hold themed events like "Easter Christmas" and "Halloween Christmas" during the year.
