LAST year she was just a sample on an Eminem record but now singer-songwriter Dido is Britain's highest earning female singer.

Since her song Thank You was sampled on Eminem's hit Stan, her album No Angel has gone on to sell over 12 million copies worldwide.

It has produced a string of hit singles and her fans have rushed to go to see her live, earning her even more money.

She came fifth in Heat magazine's pop rich list ahead of The Rolling Stones, The Bee Gees, Robbie Williams and Jamiroquai by generating a colossal £12 million income.
