POLICE in Greater Manchester are hunting members of an armed gang who threatened a petrol kiosk customer with an axe before stealing cash.
The three men, all wearing balaclavas and wielding a hammer and axe, tried to smash the reinforced glass of Morrison's store, Chadderton, Oldham.
Staff were forced to open the safe when they held an axe to a customer's head.
