A FRESH appeal for information has been made after a woman was hit in the face with a brick, resulting in her needing 12 stitches.
The 23-year-old was walking along an isolated footpath on Grundy Lane, Bury, shortly before 7.30pm last Friday when she was attacked.
The robber hit her in the face and on the head with the brick before stealing her handbag.
He is described as white, 5ft 8in, aged 20, medium build and wearing a blue or grey anorak.
