THE Lord Lieutenant of the Royal British Legion will personally present the awards at the Cadet Poppy Appeal Competition.
Colonel John Timmins will meet the highest achieving Cadets and Cadet Units from the Navy, Army and Air Force Detachments from all parts of Greater Manchester.
The cadets assist in raising money for the annual Poppy Appeal, which helps thousands of ex-Service personnel throughout the county.
The presentation evening will take place at the headquarters of the Greater Manchester Army Cadet Force, University Barracks, Boundary Lane, Manchester, on Thursday, February 21 at 7.30pm.
