THE final lunchtime concert at St Andrew and St George United Reformed Church takes place this Thursday featuring organist and pianist, Jeremy Plummer, director of music at the Victoria Hall, Bolton.

Jeremy was organ scholar at Brasenose College, Oxford from 1967 to 1970. He has been organist at All Saints Church in High Wycombe and St Mary's Church in Hayes. He has also been director of music at The Nave in Uxbridge and at the Lee Abbey Fellowship in North Devon.

He has a wide experience as choir trainer and as an accompanist on piano, organ and harpsichord.

Since taking a post-graduate degree in music education at Reading University in 1990 he has developed an interest in the way in which meeting music changes people, particularly in the context of Christian worship.

He leads workshops in music and worship, music and prayer and music and healing.

In addition to his position at the Victoria Hall, he teaches A Level music and music technology at Eccles College.

His programme will include music by Bach, Hindemith and Howells.

The concert is from 12.45pm to 1.30pm with light lunches available from 12 noon.
