A LEAFLET to promote better understanding of the Muslim faith has been sent to family doctors across Bolton.
The three Bolton Primary Care Groups have joined to produce the leaflet which has also been distributed to pharmacists.
Mr Shabir Abdul, specialist commission manager for Bolton PCGs, said that the response from GPs was positive.
Dr Stephen Liversedge, chairman of Bolton North-east PCG, said: "It is very helpful both to patients and doctors to understand more about the Muslim faith."
