DAVID Speakman has resigned from the board of Bolton Wanderers.
He became a director in 1999 but the success of his Travel Ciounsellors business is demanding more of his time.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed being a director of Bolton Wanderers but with the business continuing to expand quickly I feel that the time is right to return to being a fan," said Speakman.
"The directors of Bolton Wanderers, Burnden Leisure plc and Sam Allardyce and the team are doing a first class job and I wish them every success in the future."
