NEWSQUEST invested in a Muller Martini system when it came to deciding on mailroom equipment.
The Swiss company, which was founded by Hans Muller in 1946, is still run by the Muller family and has sales offices around the world.
The installation at Wingates has two Newsgrip conveyors and four stackers, together with conveyor systems.
It allows complete flexibility in the newspaper bundling operation as the Wingates centre strives to get copies of papers to newsagents in time.
Newsquest decided on Muller Martini after seeing their kit in action at West Ferry and in Carlisle.
