DURING the last month there have been two cars "torched" on Haslam Park.
This has caused considerable mess to the already poor playing field. It seems it is too much of an inconvenience for the perpetrators to take the cars down to the usual burning site between Middlebrook and Heaton Cemetery.
Bearing this in mind, may I ask the Council one simple question -- What is the purpose of the gates that were erected for the park a couple of years ago? Show?
