BOLTON youngsters are being given the chance to follow in the footsteps of one of the town's most famous Olympians.
The John Needham Memorial Trust are offering grants to help ambitious youngsters who want to undertake projects to fulfil their intellectual, physical or cultural potential. Brian Aspen, the Bolton Wrestler received help to fund his trip to the 1984 Los Angeles Games. Anyone aged 14 to 25 can apply by contacting Chris Harding, Senior Youth and Community Worker, New Overdale Youth Training, 11 Overdale Drive, Bolton, BL1 5BT.
