A HEROIN addict who admitted 27 house burglaries involving more than £4,000 worth of property was jailed for 18 months.
Daniel Hayes took police on a tour of properties he had burgled, pointing out the houses, garages and sheds he had broken into.
In one street he told officers he had burgled all the even numbers and said he wanted to get everything off his chest so he could make a clean start.
Hayes, aged 20, of Nelson Street, Tyldesley, appeared at Bolton Crown Court for sentence.
He admitted four burglaries where property worth £2,250 was stolen and asked the court to take into consideration 23 other offences where goods worth a total of £2,700 were taken.
Hayes burgled properties in Astley, Atherton and Tyldesley taking everything from clothes and cash to jewellery and war medals.
A fingerprint was found at the scene of one burglary and Hayes was questioned by police.
He co-operated with police and accompanied them showing 23 more properties he had burgled.
Recorder Andrew Noble jailed him for 18 months.
