IN reply to Peter D Morgan "When it gets to greed and hate bit" in the BEN on September 27.

Mr Morgan writes 'Don't go believing you're quoting the actual words or, in some cases, reading about actual historical events, or do you?' Well, this is not the first time Mr Morgan has expressed his concerns as to the validity of the "Christian scriptures" (Bible). But never let it be said I am not willing to learn. Mr Morgan has all the answers. So, with all his wisdom, knowledge and experiences, has he written to the powers-that-be in the "Christian faiths" expressing his concerns, so that they can evaluate his findings? And, if they find him to be right, can withdraw the Bible for rewriting.

Or has Mr Morgan not written to them? Why does he think they will not see the Bible scriptures in the same way he does? What is "puzzling" if Mr Morgan is so right, why, with so many eminent biblical scholars studying the "Christian scriptures" are they not expressing the same concerns as Mr Morgan to such a degree to the powers-that-be, so they can withdraw the Bible and have it "rewritten"? Or is it that their studies do not coincide with Mr Morgan's concerns?

Maybe these eminent scholars are wrong and only Mr Morgan is right? Or could it be that Mr Morgan's copy of the Bible is one of those that has been badly translated?
