FROM hero to zero in 12 months. That's Peter Taylor, above, who was sacked by Leicester.

Last year he was the future of English football as he topped the Premiership and had the respect of the entire football world for the wonders he worked with the England Under-21 team.

In between that he worked his magic with Gillingham and the world - maybe one day even the World Cup - was his for the taking.

Twelve months on and he is out of a job after planting his club at the bottom of the Premiership.

So is he a good manager or a bad one? The short answer is that it's impossible to tell, just as it is with 90 per cent of football managers.
