SOME 15 years ago my vessel "John William" was set on fire and burnt out.
The rebuilding and re-rigging has taken a long time and during that time many people from your area gave much help and encouragement. I have moved several times during this period and have unfortunately lost contact with many of them.
May I, through your paper, let anyone who remembers "John William" know that he is now restored to his former glory and is rigged with three masts and junk sails. We are, at present off the coast of Brittany and would be delighted to hear from anyone who would like to see the results of all our efforts. I can be contacted at the address below.
