ON reading the problem of Brian the Cat disappearing (The Citizen 12/07/01), I have a few words of comfort to offer to the lady in question.
When my brother got married I looked after cat while they went on honeymoon.
It was with me for one day and then cleared off for a whole fortnight.
It did not go home as I checked every day.
The night before my brother and his wife were due to return the damned animal turned up on my doorstep.
