AN elderly woman is continuing to make a slow recovery after a road accident last week.
Sheila Batters, aged 69, was said to be stable and gradually getting better at Hope Hospital, Salford, today.
She was crossing Wigan Road, in front of the Three Pigeons pub, last Thursday morning when she collided with a car.
