THE RAMBLERS' ASSOCIATION - BOLTON GROUP, announces that due to the foot and mouth situation they will continue to follow national guidelines and the programme of walks will keep away from farmland and footpaths traversing open countryside. COUNCIL FOR THE PROTECTION OF RURAL ENGLAND, walk across the sands of Morecambe Bay with Cedric Robinson. A walk of six to eight miles. CPRE members can collect sponsorship money or purchase tickets in advance, adults £5, children £2, dogs £1 and non-members are welcome to join the walk but are asked to collect sponsorship on the organisation's behalf. Places are limited for the walk, on Saturday August 11, which starts at 10am at Arnside and finishes at Kents Bank.
