CAN anyone please tell me why cars are heavier than buses and taxis, and why we suddenly have several bridges out of action and who has decided that they are not safe?
As a driver, I go to different towns, and I have not seen any other place with this problem. Perhaps we need some other expert advice from outside of Bolton -- an ombudsman or someone capable of checking these decisions.
It seems to me that it is another way of making motorists avoid Bolton. There are bridges in Manchester which are older and take more traffic, so, please, let us have more information that a simple motorist can understand thank you.
