THE third annual FA National Mini Soccer Festival takes place on Sunday at the Ron Tucker Sports Ground at Darcy Lever involving 64 teams from all around the country, 10am start.
The national tournament is sponsored as part of their support of Mini Soccer, which also covers 10 regional festivals each year.
Mini Soccer is the FA's approved form of football for all players under the age of 10, using small-sided non-competitive games to encourage a fun introduction to football. With no winners or losers on Sunday, teams will play a maximum of one hour's football each.
