A CAREERS convention is being staged next weekend for those wanting a job in the emergency services.
The Uniform in the Park event, at Manchester Velodrome and Philips Park, is being staged for the second year by the North Manchester Crime Prevention Panel.
Careers being highlighted on the day include those in the fire service, ambulance service, police, army, Commonwealth Games Office and private companies.
Paul Henderson, chairman of the north Manchester Crime Prevention
Panel, said: "We're back by popular demand. Last year's event was a roaring success, but we're determined that this year's will be even bigger and better."
