MAY I take this opportunity on behalf of St Catherine's Hospice, Lostock Hall, to thank the people of Preston, Chorley and South Ribble who attended our first Yellow Garden Fete at St Catherine's on June 24, 2001.
It was a successful day, the sun shone and everyone enjoyed the event. We are delighted to announce that we raised a grand total of £9,120.
This could not have been achieved without the support of the local community and the hard work of all those involved. This money will go towards enabling us to continue to look after those who need the special loving care that St Catherine's Hospice provides.
