NIMBLE fingered baker Jack Maurer hopes to raise some dough today for the Christie Hospital and Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and break a world record.
Jack, who runs the Swiss Cottage Patisserie, Rectory Lane, Prestwich, is preparing to make 2001 knotted buns in 50 minutes.
The buns will be served at the Christie Hospital's 100th birthday celebrations this weekend.
