A high-profile Manchester insolvency practitioner has retired after nearly 40 years in the profession.
Mr Geoff Hilton, aged 61, who lives in Harwood, was director of corporate recovery and insolvency at the Manchester office of business advisers and chartered accountants HLB K9idsons.
He has left the job after 17 years at the firm and has been replaced by Lindsey Cooper, aged 33, who has worked for the firm's insolvency practice for the past nine years.
Mr Hilton said: "I will still be available to the corporate recovery department and my clients in a more advisory role and will still be regularly working out of the Manchester office."
