STUDENTS at Bolton Sixth Form College pondered their future during an annual Careers Day.
Representatives of universities and businesses visited the college's young men and women. Lecturers gave talks on computing, optometry, teaching, engineering, nursing and the performing arts.
The day involved all lower sixth students who will be leaving the college next July. They were given the opportunity to take part in a number of practical workshops which focused on industry values, time management, teamwork and innovation. Vilma O'Shea, the college's careers manager, said: "The day gave students an insight into the types of course which are available.
"It was also useful for students who have not yet made clear plans for their future."
Chris McKee, Katie Tomlinson, Ronnie Wallwork, Kieran McCarthy and Michelle Carcione are pictured taking part in a model building exercise at the careers day.
