TIME is running out for students in Bury seeking university funding.
Student support staff with Bury Council's Education Services believe that a significant number of young people planning to go on to higher education in the next academic year have not yet made a student loan application.
Bury's Post 16 and community eEducation spokesman, Councillor Stella Smith, said: "We are obviously concerned that a number of young people have yet to make an application for a student loan. Because of this we have decided to extend the original deadline by a short period although that can not be left open indefinitely."
Young people who are going to university this autumn and need a student loan, should contact with the student support section as quickly as possible on 0161-253-5676.
