A NINE-YEAR-OLD girl's love of Beatrix Potter has won her a chance to have her garden design recreated at Southport Flower Show.
Emily Beachcroft from Hindley Green Primary School, was one of just three winners of the David Bellamy School's Competition. Her design featured Jemima Puddle-Duck, a duck shed, a host of honeysuckle, foxgloves, ivy, pansies -- and a copy of Sporting Life. The garden will be recreated by experts and more than 120,000 visitors will see it during the three day event in August on 16,17 and 18. Emily also received £500 for her school, £50 for herself and a Beatrix Potter book. She will get a chance to meet David Bellamy and pop star turned gardener Kim Wilde at the Show.
