BIG-hearted gardener Andrew Price urged his neighbours to dig deep for charity as he threw open his garden for Bolton and Bury hospices.
Andrew, aged 31, persuaded friends and family to dress up for the occasion as neighbours packed the spacious garden in Carron Grove, Breightmet, at the weekend. The mobile gardener has been showing off his planting prowess for a number of years. But this time he decided to raise money for the two charities.
Andrew said: "It was a real party with beer tent, barbecue and bouncy castle for the kids.
"It really did go down well and went on until late into the night.
"I open my garden every year but this time I thought I would charge and raise money for Bury and Bolton hospices for no other reason than I think they are good causes to support.
"I want to thank everyone for their support -- especially friends and family."
