CELEBRITY chef Paul Heathcote has been voted the "most influential man" in the country in the prestigious Theme Awards.
The accolade, which sees representatives of the bar and restaurant industry vote for their peers, is the completion of a unique treble of wins. Farnworth-born Paul's latest achievement sits alongside the prize for "One To Watch" from the Oriana Catering Forum, and his being voted the best-dressed man in Liverpool.
Paul said: "It's great to have won a hat-trick of awards and to have the backing of your peers in the industry."
Paul, who has just re-opened Simply Heathcotes in Manchester after a £200,000 refurbishment, fought off competition from five other regional winners to scoop the award.
