FARNWORTH Little Theatre has announced its programme for the coming 2001/2002 season - and three of the plays may have a familiar ring to them.

The season opens on September 8 to 15 with Cash On Delivery by Michael Cooney followed by Veronica's Room by Ira Levin which runs from November 10 to 17.

Youth Theatre members take to the stage from January 26 to February 2 with Mr Macaroni and the Exploding Pizza Pie.

A Man For All Seasons by Robert Bolt will be performed from March 30 to April 6, and the season will close with Arsenic and Old Lace by Joseph Kesselring, from June 1 to 8.

Mr Macaroni and the Exploding Pizza Pie was performed at the theatre in 1985, A Man For All Seasons in 1968, and Arsenic and Old Lace in 1957.

A spokesman said: "We have got together a varied programme. Although three of the plays have been performed previously at Farnworth Little Theatre, we did feel each was worthy of a re-run."
