IF the person who read and replied to my letter regarding the smoking shelters at the Royal Bolton Hospital had also read the article on page 13 of the BEN that night (June 26), he/she would have realised that I and other readers already know why the shelters are not in use at the moment.
My main objective in writing, was not to get at the smokers so much as to point out the WASTE OF MONEY as the shelters were not being used.
It would seem, according to the aforementioned writer, that it makes no difference to him/her and others if the shelters are open or closed, as they have no intentions of using them. I, therefore, rest my case.
