FRIDAY's winner of the Halliwell Cony KO was Ian Roe who took £32 first place.
Ian showed why he is the best left-handed thrower in Lancashire. He beat Mark Aspinall 3-0 in 16, 16 and 17 dart legs. Mark took £16 runner-up spot. Mark beat an unlucky (King Nomad) Pete Jones who did have a throw at the double to win the semis. Pete took £7, also Dave Smith played some excellent darts yet again reaching the semis but could not get in on Ian's scores and doubles. Dave also took £7 as the losing semi finalist.
Best lady prize was a well-deserved win for Ellen Fletcher who took £5 after going out to Chris Jackson. Over £100 was paid out including spot the ball.
Sunday saw Wayne Merrick throw some excellent darts after a close final against Wayne Taylor. Wayne Merrick took £33 first spot while Wayne Taylor took £17.50 second place. The semi-finalists showed some excellent darts with Frank Woods only just losing to Wayne Merrick taking £7.50. Alan Butler also took £7.50 after losing to Wayne Taylor.
Best lady prize went to Lisa Stephens taking £6.50. Over £135 was paid out including tote and spot the ball.
